The word ‘adhyatma (अध्यात्म)’ means spirituality. This spirituality is derived from two words, adhi (अधि) and atman (आत्मन्). Here, adhi means pertaining to the subject and atma means the soul. Spirituality means pertaining to the soul. Thus spirituality deals with the nature of the soul and information related to some questions such a Who am I? From where have I come? Where will I go ater death? Etc.,

Soul have three qualities, Absolute Truth (Sat), Absolute Consciousness (Chit) and Bliss (Anand). Finally, Spirituality is about the Absolute Truth which is beyond description in words and has to be experienced. Acording to Bhagvad Geeta”परमं स्वभावोऽध्यात्ममुच्यते ” It means understanding and experiencing one oneself
